About ICPA

ICPA was founded by a group of community figures who recognised the growing need for organised Islamic services and community support structures for Australian Muslims.

The organisation was established to provide an independent, community-led framework that promotes moderation, transparency, responsibility, and constructive citizenship while remaining non-partisan and community funded.

ICPA is guided by Islamic teachings derived from:

  • The Holy Qur'an
  • The Prophetic tradition (Sunnah)
  • Recognised scholarly sources
  • The scholarly traditions of Asha^irah and Maturidiyyah
